Fall Leaves Wedding Cake

This wedding cake is extra special because it was for my good friends, Jeanna and Colin, who tied the knot last weekend. It is not often that I get to make the cake and attend the wedding too! It was such a pleasure to do it for them and to see them so happy on their big day.

In spite of the uncommonly cold October weather, the wedding was full of warmth and love! Friends and family celebrated their union with dinner and lots of dancing at the Country Barn Farm. The charming barn was decorated with pumpkins, fall leaves, string lights, and paper lanterns. Entering the barn, the feeling was immediately festive and romantic. Seating cards were brown paper oak leaves with miniature pumpkins and the table centerpieces were made of flowers arranged in pumpkins -- So adorable!

And of course, the cake had the fall theme inside and out! The flavors were alternating tiers of decadent Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Honey Spice. With cascading sugar leaves in golden fall colors, it was perfect for the fall theme!
